A soft grey with a gentle marbled sheen and a raised rim. What sets it apart are the two wide slots that sit on either side of two small centre holes.
Thread a strip of fabric, twill tape or cord through the slots and the button attaches like a belt loop – a great trick for a parka or a utility jacket, where you want a fastening that looks sturdy and a little rugged. Or sew it on through the centre holes like any other button. It is very light, so it won't weigh down a lighter jacket.
