Genuine buffalo horn, and big enough to anchor a coat. Dark brown with cream highlights, and the grain varies from one button to the next. Gently concave shape on the front side.
At 28 mm it has real weight in the hand – best on a wool coat or a heavy jacket where the fabric can carry it. Made in Germany.
